I have learned the importance of preparation, organization and timeliness when submitting documentation to receive the doctor's approval within a specific timeframe. Also, I have learned mutilple, fun interactive interventions to implement with various diagnosis and age ranges. Incorporating Hippotherapy into the sessions has taught me the value of offering a variety of therapy services to the pediatric population. Overall, this experience has advanced and developed my skill sets in the pediatric setting and positively impacted my future career as an occupational therapist.
