Interprofessional Collaborative Approach to Stroke Management is a blended continuing education seminar experience combining five online prerequisite modules followed by an optional one-day hands-on 'live' lab to provide physical and occupational therapists with a framework to effectively assess and start treatment of an individual who has suffered a stroke. The seminar is presented at an intermediate level and intended for physical and occupational therapists who are seeking to enhance their skills in the area or therapists who are returning to stroke rehab after practicing in a different setting. The online modules will provide the learner with an overview of stroke pathophysiology and clinical presentation as well as a detailed overview of how to conduct a neuro evaluation using a task-oriented approach.
