Description

A Closer Look at the Management of Osteoporosis Across the Lifespan
Course Description: The purpose of this course is to educate clinicians and DPT students on patho-physiology of osteoporosis, risk factors and developing osteoporosis, screening tools used in assessing osteoporosis, and postural interventions to prevent the damaging effects of osteoporosis. The role of the rehabilitation specialist and specific management strategies of osteoporosis using safe and effective age and risk-factor specific exercise plans will be discussed.
