Description

This course focuses on the assessment and management of common hand and upper extremity pathologies. Students develop critical thinking skills needed to assess the impact of disease or pathology on hand and upper extremity movement and function. This course identifies the role of OT/PT to address participation restrictions. Students become familiar with resources and evidence-based intervention guidelines for common diagnoses of the hand and upper extremity. This course is offered to non-CHT post-professional OT and PT students.
