Description

This course provides skills in the ordering and clinical application of diagnostic imaging tests for commonly occurring skeletal and soft tissue dysfunctions of the spine, pelvis and extremities. The basics of MRI, CT, ultrasonography, nuclear Imaging, and special diagnostic imaging procedures such as fluoroscopy, venography, and 3-D reconstruction are covered. Special emphasis is placed on the communication of diagnostic findings to the supervising orthopaedist and the orthopaedic patient population.
