Description
This course is the foundation for practicing health professionals who will explore and gain knowledge about neurobiology and psychopathophysiology as this relates to the etiology (cause), epidemiology (prevalence), developmental theories, and abnormal behavior. Students will learn about evidence based empirical interventions while understanding ethical, cultural, and developmental applications. Students will learn about the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders criterion and the neurobiological progression across the lifespan.
