Description

This course provides in-depth exploration of healthcare issues specific to women and pediatric populations withinthe primary care setting. Students develop the comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for the formulation ofdifferential diagnoses and management of acute and chronic conditionsas well as for health promotion and diseaseprevention in women and children across the lifespan. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) student applies rolespecialty competency-based learning through attendance at the required FNP Skills Intensive to progress topracticum.
