Description
Course material emphasizes the development of skill necessary to perform massage to the spine and extremities. Physiological and psychological effects of massage are discussed. Indications, contraindications and medicolegal aspects of massage are also discussed. Students are instructed in the theoretical basis for use of massage. Relevent research is discussed as well.
