Communication skills are cultivated to improve successful interactions with legislators, payors, and other healthcare professionals.
Professional formation seminar is a required component of each professional formation course, providing time for discussion, expansion of exposure, and engagement in topics of professionalism in physical therapist practice. It is intended to provide exposure to outside experts and provide time for additional development of professional interaction skills. Participation is a professional expectation of the program, required for graduation.
