Description

This course covers the role of the physical therapist within the interprofessional healthcare team for the aging adult. The student applies an evidence-based approach to physical therapy examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, and discharge planning for the aging adult across all settings. Evidence-informed and ethical decision making is emphasized in promoting health, wellness, and quality of life for aging patients and clients.
