Description
This online course focuses on the examination and treatment of patients with craniofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders that are managed with dental appliances and surgical interventions. It covers oral/ maxillofacial surgery and orthognathic surgery, as well as interventions for internal temporomandibular derangement. Pre-operative and post-operative treatments are discussed with emphasis on clinical decision making based on the current literature. The prerequisite for this course is PHT 6333 and the Advanced Craniofacial (CF3) online course, as well as the completion of all the University of St. Augustine craniofacial seminars.
