Description

The purpose of this course is to broaden and deepen the knowledge and value of physical therapy and the critical role that mentoring plays within our profession. Mentoring roles and the mentoring relationship will be discussed and students will reflect on their experiences and how they can develop skills in this area. The student will be engaged in full time PT practice where they will have the opportunity to apply the theory and skills acquired in their didactic course work within the clinical setting and reflect and discuss their growth. Pre-requisite: this course is available only to students whose highest earned degree is at the baccalaureate level.
