Description
This online course focuses on the examination and treatment of patients with craniofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders that are managed with dental appliances and surgical interventions. It covers oral/ maxillofacial surgery and orthognathic surgery, as well as interventions for internal temporomandibular derangement. Pre-operative and post-operative treatments are discussed with emphasis on clinical decision making based on the current literature. Prerequisite: PHT 7333 Advanced Craniofacial (CF3) and the completion of all the University of St. Augustine craniofacial seminars.
