Description

This course provides an in-depth study of developmental and acquired motor speech disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech, apraxia of speech in adults, and the various types of dysarthria across the lifespan. Students will explore the neurological underpinnings, differential diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention approaches to support effective clinical decision-making.

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Successful completion of SLP 5220, SLP 5230, SLP 5232, and SLP 5235.
