Description
The Miami Stroke Symposium 2019 is a one day continuing education event focusing on sharing best practice in stroke rehabilitation across the continuum of care. This symposium was initiated in 2013 and has hosted some of the best speakers in the field.
The 2019 event will change venues for the first time as West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital (Select Medical) is co-sponsoring the event with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. The event will feature six speakers with a variety of medical backgrounds all focused on the area of stroke rehabilitation. The topics will range from medical management of stroke in the acute care setting to various therapy assessments and approaches for patients with stroke.
