This seminar covers a multitude of business concepts for healthcare leaders. Understanding the importance of budgets is critical and is the leader’s responsibility to determine what resources are working as well as identifying additional resources required. Fundamental financial skills and budgeting process basics are critical concepts to understanding how resources are allocated in a healthcare organization and aids in identifying opportunities for future growth.

In addition, fundamentals of marketing as well as communication are essential to developing effective financial acumen. Identifying the marketing structure in a health care organization and individual’s roles builds the foundation for developing effective marketing presentations that showcase both the organization and team talent to attract and retain customers.
