The presentation is designed to provide faculty members with increased knowledge of item writing based on methods used in the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) program. Through discussion of an array of topics, including where the content of classroom test items should come from, how to make multiple-choice items similar to NPTE items, how to utilize statistical analyses to improve test questions, and the importance of peer review of test items, the presentation is designed to benefit both you and your students.
