This online course engages learners to examine the basic concepts associated with teaching and learning within higher educational environments and methods to be an effective academic educator. This course focuses on educational theoretical underpinnings for teaching in an academic setting and experiential learning of the processes of instructional design, course development, and effective teaching and facilitation of learning in a higher education environment.
