Description
This course prepares students to critically appraise and deliver occupational therapy interventions in mental health practice settings to persons, groups, and populations who are labeled with or at risk of experiencing mental illness across the lifespan with the goal of facilitating the recovery process. Trauma-informed care perspectives are presented as foundational elements that inform mental health practice across settings and populations.
