Week 5 Original post: Fri 10/11/2013 at 4:03 PM
In our evaluations we use a variety of assesment tools and theraputic observations. We do not used any standardizied tools because we are able to gather information based on play and observations to gain insight into the child. However, this past week we had to comduct a 6 month update on a child and we used the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System for Infants and Children. This tool is used by OT, PT and SLP. It looks at gross motor, fine motor, adaptive, social and social communication domains. This assesment is very similar to the peabody.

Amanda,
Can you please provide a more detailed/specific list of "variety of assessment tools and therapeutic observations"?
Thank you,
Dr. Pallister
