Occupational therapy fits in the organizational chart at the facility by evaluating and treatment diagnoses including: Autism, developmental delay, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and others. Occupational therapy focuses on sensory integration, fine motor skills, visual motor skills, social skills, and self care skills. The OTs at the facility involve the family when making goals to help create a more client centered approach.

1) By week 3 carry out 3-5 full treatment sessions independently.
2) By the end of week 2 be independent with documentation of daily notes.
3) By week 9 carry out full treatment sessions for 20-23 clients.
- I will meet this goal by adding full treatment sessions onto my case each week. I will start off with 3-5 then progress to 5-7, then 7-10, then 10-13, then 13-16, then 16-20 and finally 20-23 treatment sessions per week. By slowly adding on it will allow me to gain confidence as well as continue to get to know the kids.
