During this internship, I have learned the red flags or warning signs that indicate sensory processing difficulties. I have learned many techniques to help treats kids with sensory integration issues. I have also learned a lot about the process and sacrifices one must make to own your own clinic.  The importance and effectiveness of home programming as well as communication between disciplines is also key to providing the client with the most holistic care.
