Upon review of my midterm evaluation, it was determined that my main area of improvement needed is time management of providing occupational therapy services, mainly pertaining to documentation and increasing my caseload. Some of this will naturally evolve as I gain experience and comfort with the documentation system used at THT, but in addition to that, I will need to have better focus and attention when documenting. Both of my supervisors model very well effective time management and I will strive to emulate their strategies to demonstrate more efficient use of time. One barrier to this, however, is that there are only two laptops which are shared, and so coordination between therapists and COTAs for documenting is crucial to help facilitate smooth daily schedules and routines. For the last half of my fieldwork, I will also improve my communication with the others when I am finished using the laptop for documentation purposes.
