Discuss how evidence based practice is used to support client interventions in this setting.

               Evidence based practice plays a huge role in how we formulate our plan of care and carry out our interventions. Research found based on the use of ultrasound has provided great results for decreasing patients pain and inflammation. I have been able to utilize this modality with many of my patients which has provided positive results and support towards its use in occupation therapy evidence based practice. There is new research published everyday, and as therapists it is our duty to remain up-to-date with these publications in order to give our patients the best care possible  at times.
