Description

This course integrates and synthesizes didactic/learned course content and clinical skills through simulation or client contact applying theory and evidence-based assessment and therapy skills training for students with individuals across the lifespan. Students participate in observation, screening, assessment, documentation and report writing activities online and during a residency weekend on campus for clinic hours with ASHA certified and state licensed SLPs. Assessment, treatment, and management issues with varied clinical and cultural populations will be addressed.
