Description
This 1 hour course is designed to help students develop skills that are essential for success in healthcare and educational professions. The course will focus on building foundational skills for becoming a practicing clinician (i.e., speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist). This elective supports future clinicians by fostering academic and clinical skills required for successful professional growth. The curriculum includes strategies, resources, and behaviors that facilitate students’ success in graduate school as well as when they engage in clinical activities. Key concepts included in this course are study strategies, note-taking, and workload management to facilitate students’ transition to practicing clinicians.
