Description

This course presents the theory and rationale of competency-based occupational therapy and evidence-based interventions for clients with neurological deficits. Students will apply neurorehabilitation frames of reference, evaluation and treatment to the specific problems limiting a clients independence in basic or instrumental activities of daily living. These limitations may include tone, balance, strength, motor planning, sensory loss, dysphagia, cognitive/ perceptual deficits, or psycho-social/ behavioral problems.
