Upon completion of the Master of Health Administration (MHA) Program, graduates will be able to demonstrate:

Evaluate scholarly research that contributes to sound, evidence-based practice in the administrative health care setting

Collaborate with other health care disciplines in the administration of health care services

Analyze the effect of various policies on the delivery of services in a health care environment

Develop written and oral presentations that effectively communicate to both health professionals and non-health professional audiences

Develop and maintain standards of accountability based on organizational values

Demonstrate skills necessary to create an ideal organizational performance standard in health care settings

Apply evidence-based decision making to the process of quality improvement

If a student cannot complete the required work within the predetermined timeframe, he/she will receive a grade of Incomplete ("I"). The student must then complete the work by the new assigned due date to receive a letter grade. No further extension will be permitted. If the student does not complete the requirements within the approved time, the "I" grade will automatically become an Incomplete/Fail ("I/F") on his/her transcript.

It is required that students complete all degree requirements within 2 years. An extension of up to one year may be requested.  If the Program Director approves the extension, there is an extension fee of $333 per trimester.

Keep your contact information up to date: Through the MyUSA portal and My Contact Info link on the Student tab under Student Links. You will be able to update your contact information, address changes, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.

Since the portal requires students to use an ID and password, any changes made through it are considered official. An email is not considered official notification. Students use the same Student portal to see their grades, schedules, and financial records so we encourage you to use it.

Who should I contact if I have further questions?

If your question is about the content of your transcript (courses, grades, degree, etc.), you should contact your Registrar's Office at registrar@usa.edu . At the end of each term we ask all students to complete a short evaluation of the course/courses they have just completed. It is important that all students fill out the evaluation, it is your way to tell us if the instructor met you expectations and it is needed for the Universities accreditation.

To Remain in the MHA program, the student must:
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Complete a minimum of one (1) course within three months (12 weeks) of acceptance and a minimum of 12 credits a year.

Going forward all communication from the University including registration confirmations will be sent to your USA.EDU email address. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your Program Administrative Assistant.
