Please share/ discuss something you learned from this fieldwork experience you feel will impact your practice as occupational therapist in the future.

I have gained a significant amount of knowledge and wisdom at my pediatric rotation. The one thing that will stick with me is that even though you might have someone who is completely nonverbal and has barley made gains in a year,  do not give up on them because if you can figure out a new approach that motivates them you can still make significant gains! I think that can transfer to any setting, being able to think outside the box and approach treatment from 10 different angles that is when you will make the most progress.
