  • How many clients are you seeing daily?

I am seeing between 18-25 children in one day.  Some of them are in group sessions and some have individual sessions.

  • What are their diagnoses?

Diagnoses include Autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, and others.

  • What is considered a full caseload for your facility?

A full caseload is considered to be around 10 sessions a day (total of groups and individual sessions).

  • Discuss one strategy you are utilizing to help you work toward or maintain a full caseload.

I have been slowly adding students to my caseload on an individual basis.  The next step is to facilitate and co-facilitate our social sensory groups, speech/OT groups, and our kindergarten RTI groups.  I have planned and ran group sessions for the kindergarten RTI groups, and will continue to co-facilitate with the social sensory groups and speech/OT groups until I am ready to independently facilitate them.  It's important to get comfortable with the kids before diving into independent facilitation because otherwise, they don't follow directions as well, or get shy around the facilitator.
