At Tampa General Hospital - occupational therapy plays an important role in rehab. OT works in conjunction with PT and speech. At times there are sessions were co treatments are needed.

This setting is an acute rehab setting. So far I have worked on the orthopedic injury floor and the step down unit med floor.

The three objectives include:

1. Be able to complete a full caseload by week 12 of internship

2. Complete the minimum documentation with accuracy.

3. Become comfortable with communicating to patients with intro and educate patients on safety.

I believe that I will be able to complete a full caseload as I learn how to deal with certain diagnosis, I become comfortable with communication, and I continue to practice each patient session.
