Please list the areas you and your FWS identified in your mid-term evaluation that you need to concentrate on for the next 5 weeks of this fieldwork rotation. 

          Although my FWS has been very impressed with my performance in treating our pediatric patients, I have not had many opportunities to perform evaluations and re-evaluations on patients. We have decided that in the next 5 weeks, my focus will be on taking the lead during any re-evaluation sessions as well as discussing any concerns/issues with the parents, caregivers, and primary therapists for the children we only consult for on a monthly basis. She would also like me to become more familiar with several standardized assessments so that I can perform at least 2 of them on our weekly patients.

 Discuss how you plan to meet these new objectives/ goals.

          I have already begun reading through the assessment manuals in order to be better acquainted with them for use on at least 2 of our clients. I also plan on making several different sensory diets as a way to make recommendations to our patient's parents/caregivers and to become more comfortable with discussing any concerns they are having with their children.  Communication is a major part of our job, so becoming more confident in how to communicate with parents/caregivers is essential. I have also been taking great notes as my FWS talks to parents and other therapists during consults in order to take over this job and be confident in the questions I need to ask and the recommendations I should make for each child.
